Nufkin - Mark and his liver

Nufkin (User #96163) is a self-proclaimed happy gay man who is also ill with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. He's been keeping a blog about that and other things. Reading through all the stuff that is required to be considered for a liver transplant [a necessary procedure for most people with PSC eventually] is fascinating.

dng - spiders, computers and throttles

dng (User #76581) has a fun website with a lot of projects he's worked on including a children's book about spiders, an old scanned book about computers in the 70s and a website full of comic book throttles.

Devils Rancher - Art-wear

Devil's Rancher (User #19026) has created a site that is nominally "A T-shirt and Screen Printing Blog" but really it's about the whole biz of scree-printing and the things that go along with it. I really enjoyed his latest post on how to make an optimal screenprinting set-up which he was recently able to do with the space he works out of in Austin TX.

SharkParty — ha ha yeah no.

SharkParty (User #135749) contributes to ha ha yeah no, a tumblr blog that examines sci-fi ideas that we may wish for, but shows us that, really, we wouldn't want them. For example, cloning yourself may sound like fun, but it's not all it's cracked up to be, especially when you find out that your clone is "the kind of mirror reflection of you that you needed to realize you are an intolerable asshole, creating a social divide between you and your clone that makes this whole process a total bummer." Same with telepathy, flying cars, first contact, food pills, and more. Each entry comes with a funny illustration. The site hasn't been updated in almost a year (much like the site you are currently viewing), but the pool of potential ideas to build up and knock down is endless. More, please!
